Creating a new kind of community – pollinator-friendly, sustainably designed, connected to things to do and places to go via a network of trails – is a huge undertaking. Before Baseline can be built out, a lot gets built in. We’re happy to say, amazing progress is being made.

At this stage of construction (and as of the writing of this blog in May, 2020) roadways and alleyways have made their way through West Village, forming the grid that will become Baseline’s first residential enclave. Gas and electrical lines are being installed, bringing power to the people. The landscape – and future home to pollinators – along Sheridan Boulevard is taking shape, and soon stoplights on this stretch of road will be operational, too. Directional signs are beginning to point the way to model homes (which will be opening very soon). And Baseline’s artful entry monument, the future beacon of new ways to live, work and play in Broomfield, is in full-on fabrication.

In other words, these are exciting times at Baseline.
